No Scan Appliance Technique:
For 5 or less implants, or tooth-supported such as a single tooth, multi-unit bridge, or partially edentulous cases.

Step 2: Send master casts or digital impressions with bite.
Step 3: Meet online to approve preplanned case.
Step4: You receive guide and plan.
Important Note: If metal-based restoration is present,
use Memosil II to reduce the scatters when taking bite registration.

Scan Appliance Technique:
For 5 or more implants, or fully edentulous case. The guide will sit on patient’s soft tissue, or on bone surface after flap has been reflected of arch.
Step 1: Send master casts and bite.
Step 2: We fabricate and send back radiographic guide for CBCT scan.
Step 3: We need 2 appliance scans to be uploaded. First, scan appliance is scanned in patient’s mouth. Arches must be separated using cotton balls. Second, scan appliance is scanned by itself on a piece of styrofoam.
Step 4: Meet online to approve preplanned case.
Step 5: You receive guide and plan.
Important Note: If there is an approved denture,
it may be used as a scan appliance as long as it is hard reline denture.
